Using TYPO3 4.2.1, Linux on PHP 5

I have a page named LEVEL 1 where I set 'show at any login' and 'include subpages'. The page has several subpages....

Now I create a simple text element on some other page named TEST. In this element I have a link in the text to one of the subpages to LEVEL 1.

After clearing all cache I go to the page TEST in the FE...... and TYPO3 has generated the link to the subpage!!!!!

When I click the link - I receive the 404, which I expected, but I did not expect the link to be generated!!!

I have also tried this on 3.8.1 - the same problem!!!

Am I wrong or is the a bug?
