As I have heard from different persons globalString don't work any more in 4.2.2
Example:
[globalString = GP:L = * ]
do something
[end]

The problem is that GP:L=* also matches if L (or some other param) is not set at all. That is a side effect of #18878.

Please, post only confirmed, good bug reports, with exact steps to reproduce the problem. "Heard" is not a reason to post a bug report. globalString works for me in trunk.
