Is this caused by the viewport?

I just tried it: Using the page module shows me the page tree, but after clicking on a page title, nothing happens.
Is this the same for you? Christophers description sounds a bit different..

Bug was introduced with #22208

Result is that the trees aren't usable anymore, not as Christopher wrote.

Hopefully the attached patch fixes the issues. Would be great if someone this knownledge about the behaviour of the condensedMode can test this and vote for it on the mailing list. Thanks!
