tslib_fe::hook_eofe generates broken HTML code

Description
When an extension (i.e. workspaces) uses the hook "hook_eofe" it breaks the entire HTML code which may lead to several javascript errors (as seen in workspaces).
Shouldn't this be wrappend with an ob_start();ob_end_clean(); for proper output and the END of the HTML source?
This happens in almost all TYPO3 Versions.
When using workspaces 4.5.1 with feeditadvanced 1.4.0 in Internet Explorer 7 this leads to complete break of the whole frontend editing.

No, it cannot be wrapped because that would break compression in FE.
The hook by itself does not break anything. It is hook functions that would behave incorrectly. Nobody is supposed to do any direct output but set information to the $GLOBALS['TSFE']->content.
