Description
Make the remote repository (and mirror) configurable.
There should be a configuration view to easily switch between configurations or even set an order for fall backs.

Maybe make them configurable in some advanced mode but please don't show this configuration options to a normal, new user - as normally your don't need them and the normal user should not see things that could confuse him.

Sure, also the typoscript configuration currently is sufficient for 6.0.
It could be set within the extensionmanager within the extension "extensionmanager" in configuration view.

We are running our own TER. This is very helpful to provide our extensions for smaller projects. As you know some customers have very low level servers with just FTP access.
For us it would be very interesting to have some expert settings to inject our own TER and mirrors XML. Is there any way to achieve this with the new extension manager? Maybe we can work together on this feature. If this is interesting for you it would be great if we could have a short meeting where we can discuss a possible solution. Maybe we can get this feature into version 6.1 of TYPO3 CMS.
I hope this doesn't sound to harsh. I just like to see this feature as part of the new EM.
