Feature #43327
closedDrag content element to trash
0%
Description
With drag and drop in the Pages module it would be consistent and nice to have a trash-drop-area similar to the PageTree.
This should enable easy deleting of a content element just by dragging it to the page bottom into the "trash" area.
What do you think?

We had the same idea .. but someone needs to implement it. :)
I think what even more is interesting - "Add" like the Pagetree.
But thanks for your suggestion and pointing us again to this.

Maybe we could ask Stefan Galinski who implemented that for the pagetree …

As we don't go for ExtJS anymore - jQuery is the weapon.
I fear there is only very less we could transfer between the two views.
But what we can do - is come up with a visual concept for it. :)
@Lars - should we do a session for it - right now, we are in the flow.

Sorry, I close this issue for now;
No one has actively worked on it for a very long time, and moreover the pagtree "trash-drop-area" concept has changed in the meanwhile.
If you think that this is the wrong decision, please reopen it or ping me on Slack (or open a new issue to start with a fresh concept)
Thank you
