The category <=> category_number of an extension is not resolved correctly in \TYPO3\CMS\Extensionmanager\Domain\Model\Extension::getDefaultCategory().
Resulting is a mysql error, because the category string is not escaped (because it's expected to be an integer value):
Ex: "Unknown column 'plugin' in 'field list'"
I'll give it a try with gerrit now, if I fail I'll attach the patch here ;)
