Description

To improve the user experience in collaborative content editing:

colleagues should be recognized by the avatar image as well not only by the username.
There are various places where users can see changes by other editors (history/protocol/user administration).

Scope for first patch:

  • Add field for avatar to the backend users as a start (TCA, upload folder, …)
  • Display own avatar in topbar / toolbar beside username (image generator
  • Change own avatar image via EXT: setup

Follow-ups:

  • Display avatar images in protocol/log
  • Display image of users currently online/active (EXT: beuser)
  • … further use currently defined in UX ticker …
