Description

If the folder from which you selected your last file doesn't exixt anymore there is a mature bug.
An TYPO3\CMS\Core\Resource\Exception\ResourceDoesNotExistException will be thrown.

The Bug is in typo3\sysext\recordlist\Classes\Browser\ElementBrowser.php
Everywhere where \TYPO3\CMS\Core\Resource\ResourceFactory::getInstance()->retrieveFileOrFolderObject($this->expandFolder) is called, there must be a try-catch!
For example in line 1161:

$fileOrFolderObject = \TYPO3\CMS\Core\Resource\ResourceFactory::getInstance()->retrieveFileOrFolderObject($this->expandFolder);

should be

try{
   $fileOrFolderObject = \TYPO3\CMS\Core\Resource\ResourceFactory::getInstance()->retrieveFileOrFolderObject($this->expandFolder);
}catch(\Exception $e){
}
