width and height are optional attributes on the HTML IMG element. If they remain undefined, such as in the case of SVG, then they should be omitted and not set to 0. Sizing should preferentially be handled in CSS for SVG elements, as they are generally intended to be sized dynamically according to browser size/resolution.

I still have this problem in TYPO3 6.2.22

The merged fix is only for 8.x; a custom fix must be made for 6.2 and 7.6 if the issue is to be fixed in those versions.
