Description
we had an issue that occurred by accident, but should be intercepted anyway …
test case:
content element: insert records
references a whole page (the same page where the element is on)
then the Web>Page module ends in an endless loop
(Web>List is OK)

Good one...
Should be fixed in two places: * Do not allow the creation of a recursive inclusion. * Detect recursive selection on rendering.

As this occurred again right now, what's the status for this ticket?
You may give us a starting point where this should be fixed and we will take a look at it ourselves and provide a patch.

No progress at all, but I put it on my board to have a look.
Only pointer I can give is to start with the page module rendering module

I'm failing to reproduce this. How do you add "a whole page" to "Insert Records"?
I can only add content elements, but not pages there.
