Description

Follow the steps to reproduce the bug:

  1. go to backend
  2. select page modul
  3. select any page in page tree -> page content is available in main frame
  4. hide the page tree
  5. refresh the page (browser reload)

The selected page content does not show up in the main frame. When you show up the page tree again the content appears.

Hi Christoph,

that is because the Backend needs an event and a selected page in order to show something in the main frame.
So this is not necessarily a bug but more of a logical consequence.

Cheers
Mathias

I close this for now because the current (speaking 7LTS) behavior is the following:

If I reload the page with hidden page tree and select the page module a info message is shown: "Please click the page title in the page tree to the left to edit page content." I think this solves the confusion issue. If you think there is still an issue here please dont hesitate to comment or reopen the ticket and add further disription of the problem.
