Opening list-view info-functionality fails for certain content-elements

Description

In the list-view for a content-element try to open the info-view. That works for me for regular content-elements.

But with EXT:media installed and a simply CE of that type on a page trying to open the info I then get:
#1: PHP Catchable Fatal Error: Argument 2 passed to TYPO3\CMS\Backend\Utility\IconUtility::getSpriteIconForRecord() must be of the type array, null given, called in /var/www/git-typo3/TYPO3v4/TYPO3.CMS/typo3/sysext/backend/Classes/Controller/ContentElement/ElementInformationController.php on line 743 and defined in /var/www/git-typo3/TYPO3v4/TYPO3.CMS/typo3/sysext/backend/Classes/Utility/IconUtility.php line 689

Is that extension special in any way? Doesn't it have some icon defined where it should or so / is there an icon-setting missing?
