Description

Imagine the following use case:

  • There are some pages of type "Folder" and/ or "Menu Separator".
  • The editor stores some tt_content on these special pages.
  • The TYPO3 installation is running indexed_search in the frontend.
  • To avoid that the content is indexed, the editor has to set the "no_search" attribute. The field is not available for most of the doktypes. So the editor has to change the doktype back to "Standard".

IMHO some of the fields on the behaviour tab should always be visible to avoid changing the doktype temporarily.

but indexed_search can't index content on a sysfolder?! and indexing happens during frontend rendering, so if something has been indexed and you change the setting, even then the checkbox wouldn't help.

as this issue is some kind of meta issue, can you please add the fields you need in other tabs + usecase or maybe close it?
