inline child record only translatable one time

Description
Inline child records are only translatable one time. When you try to translate the child record to a second language it does not work anymore. The record keeps grayed out.

It looks the issue is that when localizing a child record it always uses the first language instead of current language of the (parent) record.
Can be reproduced with TYPO3 7.3 + ext:news

Yes you are right. Is this bug gonna fixed in the current version or should we wait for TYPO3 8?

Fix does not work for me. log still says: [newlog()] Localization failed; There already was a localization for this language of the record!

Hi,
my log also gets flooded with this messages:
[newlog()] Localization failed; There already was a localization for this language of the record!
and sometimes
[newlog()] Localization failed; Source record had another language than "Default" or "All" defined!
I cannot find the source of this messages :-(

Hi,
did something changed with last TYPO3 core updates?
I have this message also in 6.2.27 - never noticed this bevor in this "old" installation
[newlog()] Localization failed; There already was a localization for this language of the record!
