Description

typo3 7.6.4

The concept with categories makes typo3 much more flexible.
Every content-element has a tab "categories" and this categories
often have their origin from different folders in the page-tree.

In the content-tabs all categories from the whole page-tree
and all folders are shown together.
BUT:
If you hide a (categories-)folder, you still will see
its categories as available in all content-tabs.
AND more:
If you hide each single category from this already hidden folder, too -
you still will see this hidden categories as available.

This is not the way typo3 normally deals with hide/unhide, isnt it?

So please accept this as a bug or make it a feature:

Assign an "is hidden" icon in the selection-boxes
where we can see if a category is available or hidden,
just as in all other content-elements, too.

AND just as in all other content-elements it would
be a good feature, if we could see the UID of a category
when doing a hover over its icon.
Thus we can find the origin of the choosen category and its folder where it comes from -
yes, in large installations there are categories with the same name, sometimes.
