Description

there is a SAAS solution for editors to manage data for a cms: http://www.gathercontent.com
so there is no TYPO3 api yet, a lot of features exists in TYPO3 and some could be realised with improvement of existing sysexts.

  1. enable ext:sys_note records for each content/data record so editors could give and receive comments and feedbacks
  2. enhance ext:taskcenter to set timelines and send reminders to editors

I would opt developing an own extension for your needs and extension core functionality within there. It sounds like your ideas are a feature you want to be able to turn on/off depending of your editor needs.
