Problem is in:

@media (min-width: 992px) {
  .scaffold-toolbar {
    background-color: transparent;
    bottom: auto;
    display: block;
    height: 45px;
    left: auto;
    overflow: visible;
    top: 0;
  }
}

If you change the transparant to #1f1f1e it has the background color that it should have. It also works with the green workspaces background.
