After updating to 7.6.15 at the start page, the EXT:report and the update Wizard claimed that this is not the correct version.
The attched file shows the start page. The screenshot at https://forge.typo3.org/issues/67637 is what eXT:report showed.

The update wizard clained that there are depreciated RTE-settings, but the update failed.
Manual inspection, including checking in the DB, did not reveal any wrongdoing.

With DB-Check some entries could be identified and finally located in the sys_history.

After manual removal of those there were still an error.

This was then found as beeing an commented out entry in the TSconfig.

At least this report should help to identify a cause, should this happen to someone else.
