Add option to change the insert position for inline elements (IRRE)

Hi,
only one thought.
A customer asks me if it's possible to change the insert position for files in the "File links" content element (uploads).
I think the main reason for this wish is, that they have quite some bigger lists in which they have to drag the newest file all to the top of the list.
Disclaimer: We don't maintain this TYPO3 from the customer. But we get questions to make some additions.
So I looked into the code and determine, that this is not possible at the moment.
The only possible positions seems to be "bottom" (default) and "after" another element.

I'd like to discuss if this should be a feature and what would this mean.

My two cents: I think a small "add button" at the child record could be a good solution. TCA entry "child" and then TYPO3 render a button "Add new record after this one"

A button "Add new record after this one" within each IRRE element would be a great feature for every editor...
