Installing a distribution with included extension where a cache is defined, this cache is not initialized and therefore an error is thrown:
Oops, an error occurred! A cache with identifier "cache_news_category" does not exist. More information regarding this error might be available online.

This is a weeny bit old, do you know if still valid? What would be a small reproducible example for this, is there a public distribution showcasing this?
Would probably be complex to split the distribution import process into two processes because config changes would only be processed in a seperate followup request...

I think the issue can be closed as the version is not supported anymore and I can hardly remember in which project the issue was relevant.
If the issue is still relevant it will show up again.
