Having the documentation for TYPO3 v. 8.7: https://docs.typo3.org/typo3cms/TSconfigReference/8.7/UserTsconfig/Options/Index.html#

Setting:

options.folderTree.uploadFieldsInLinkBrowser = 1
options.folderTree.hideCreateFolder = 1
options.uploadFieldsInTopOfEB = 1

do not seem to have any effect anymore :-(
