I have a 9.5.4 Installation with a simple form via EXT:form. Whatever I do, alle fields are being marked as required in the frontend. I double checked the .yaml, my textfield is not required there. Can anyone reproduce this? Thank you.

I cannot reproduce this on my 9.5 installation. Can you share your yaml config for the form (and if you made changes to the main form configuration, those, too)?

With a composer based installation and fluid 2.6 the bug is fixed.
