Set new page access group to parent page access group

Description
It is possible to set the access group of new pages using TSConfig:
TCEMAIN {
permissions.groupid = 1
}
However, it is not possible to automatically set it the same as the parent page. Something like this would be great:
TCEMAIN {
permissions.groupid = inherit
}

Can this be ported back to v9? Totally surprised that this wasn't already a feature since forever. Of course inheriting parent groups must be possible. Defaulting to inheriting the current users "first assigned group" is totally arbitrary - this means it's very easy to create situatons where suddenly people that are allowed to view a whole page tree can not see new subpages anymore because it was created by another user that accidentally happens to have another group at the top (which the main editor does not have at all).
Or scenario 2:
Page groups are set to inherited backend groups (subgroup) to give a specific superset of users access. This won't take over to new pages.
It may not be that editors can lock out other permitted editors without the possibility to clear the situation themselves and have to require an admin user for this.
