During the development of the dashboard the Web Animations Polyfill of Google was replaced by another library because of licensing. Unfortunately during one of the patchsets this change was reverted by accident.

We should use the MIT licensed lib https://github.com/animationatwork/web-animate

At https://caniuse.com/#feat=web-animation you can see that mostly Safari is not supprting the Web Animations API.

You can check if this patch is working by dragging and dropping widgets in Safari.
