[TASK] Replace jQuery shortcuts with AJAX API
Resolves: #90941
After upgrade to 10.4.0 from 10.4.0 dev some weeks ago backend is not working any more ion chrome brwoser. When loggin on the menu is shwon on the left but no action possible, any click on any Menu item e.g. page does not trigger any actions. It works with Firefox or Edge. When replacing the file with the version beofre the commit chrome browser works again.
Best regards
Eckard.

Hi,
I just tried it again with latest 10.4.2.dev and the issue is still the same. With chrome browser the contexthelp does not work anymore. hence I can not navigate to any menu-item. I did clear all caches browser as well as Typo3. Only when I replace the file ContextHelp.js with the version before the commit it works.
Maybe it is related to the other issue: [[https://forge.typo3.org/issues/91270]] Uncaught DOMException. But I do get this exception also with the earlier version of the file but I can use the backend. Not sure where I could look for debugging. If you could give me a hint, where to look, when pressing a menu item, I could do so.
Best regards
Eckard.
