Description

You can set a global configuration in, for example, file AdditionalConfiguration.php and overwrite the setting from the LocalConfiguration.php.
For example:

$GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['MAIL']['dsn'] = 'ses+api://ACCESS_KEY:SECRET_KEY@default';
$GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['MAIL']['defaultMailFromAddress'] = 'noreply@typo3.org';

When you open Admin Tools → Settings Configure → Installation-Wide Options, TYPO3 shows the following below.
Is there a reason not to show the actual configuration value for information purposes?
