Filter and tools for bulk adding categories to files

Tagging files with sys_category could be a strong tool to overcome limitations of only ordering files by folders. But it will not work before improvements of the file list module and the elementbrowser is made. Here is some ideas:

• Make files searchable by categories in the file list and in the elementbrowser. Must be able to add more categories to the search to narrowing down the result list.
• Make it more convenient to assign categories to files
  • in elementbrowser when uploading
  • in the file list module directly from the list without starting editing metadata
  • by bulk assigning categories to selections of files in the file list module

The requested features will - besides making TYPO3 even better - make it easier to convert sites from other CMSs to TYPO3.
