TYPO3 v11.5.10 Admin-Panel, Simulate FE-Time not working

Description
Setting the simulated time in the adminpanel works.
If i see on the same domain eventnews (ext georgringer/eventnews and news), there are not changes which items are shown (although it's filtering with the real current date).
I guess the simulate date/time is not working, still.
This bug had already an entry for version 9 with an patch for version 11 at: https://forge.typo3.org/issues/91225

To summarize that again: Simulation of access time for content element (tt_content) does work, for custom 3rd party extensions (like ext:news) it does not, correct?
Maybe this is related to caching side-effects when rendering corresponding plugins (just guessing without looking into the code of ext:news).

i retested this. Indeed, that is the case.
News respectively Eventnews do not take the date/time-settings of the admin-panel into account.
I guess, i'll post this issue there then, correct?
