Description

The frontend implementation of `EXT:adminpanel` has been revamped
in TYPO3 v9 with #84584, #84044 and #84892 including the refactor
of AJAX request using backend ajax routing.

This makes the `eID` handler implementation obsolete for quite a
long time now but has not been removed meanwhile.
