I suggest the following improvements for the language packages tab: * skip search for updates if no update is available * remove check status button (as you can download an update nearly every time, it is quite useless to check for updates and then download the update - I assume every user who access this tab will execute both options) What do you normally do? * use simultaneous requests for updating the list for faster processing (at least two or three parallel requests?)

I use the latest version from trunk.
