Modifying page titles in page tree doesn't work while in workspace

Description
When I try to change the name of a page directly in the pagetree, there comes the following error message:
[1.0.-1]: [newlog()] Could not be edited in offline workspace in the branche where found (failure state: 'Online records was not in versionized branch!'). Auto-creation of version not allowed in workspace!
I attached a screenshot which schow's exactly the error.

Works fine for me - this looks like missing user-permissions...

thanks for your feedback.
In facts it might be a user-permission issue but can those errors happen for admins too?

Well they don't happen in my installations neither for admins nor for users ;)

I can reproduce this, but it is a misconfiguration:
If you disable the auto creation of versions in the workspace you can't inline edit pages but need to create the version yourself first. As a solution I'd say: Don't disable the auto creation of versions. Makes no sense.
