Description
This report relates to the bug 0005266 "htmlarea doesn't load with new Firefox 2.0.0.3".
This bug is marked as resolved, but with the version 1.4.4 of tx_rtehtmlarea will not be loaded in InternetExplorer 7.0.5730.11
Tested it on two Computers.

Under IE 7.0.5730.11 htmlarea 1.5.1dev works fine

I cannot confirm this. I've tested on IE 7.0.5730.11 with TYPO3 4.0.6 and RTEhtmlarea from TER (with and without compressed scripts).
Maybe your typo3temp directory contains old stuff or is not readable/writable for the user of the webserver (e.g. www-data or www).

RTEhtmlarea 1.4.4 is not compatible with TYPO3 4.1. Please use the system extension of the prerelease at http://www.mstucki.net/files/typo3/prereleases/4.1.1RC1/ instead. The official release will be published on typo3.org/sourceforge.net within the next few days.

incompatibility between htmlarea and TYPO3 version. The multiple different versions often lead to confusion, we are talking about improving the situation already.
