Description

The searchfield in Backend searchs extension tables only if your an admin user. If you'r a regular user it does not search those tables, even if you'v got the permissions for them.

The search field, which i mean is shown on the attached screenshot.

The issue is very old, does this issue exists in newer versions of TYPO3 CMS (4.5 or 6.1)?

It does not exist anymore in 4.5.x
