Description

Problem 1:
When editing templates in the Web > Template modul you can't add a new template record. You have to change to Web > list to do that and change back to edit it. That is very tireing.

Solution:
Add a new button to the docheader of Web > Template modul

Problem 2:
After finishing editing one template you have to click the save button and close button to be able to select another template for editing

Solution:
Add a save+close button to the docheader when editing (I'd also love an save+new button)
Maybe even the template selector box from the main page of the template module could be added to make it possible to change quickly between different templates

Regarding problem 2:

When editing a single field like 'sitetitle' you can click on the save button to save the changes. Switching can be done by using the template selector box
When editing the whole template record, TYPO3 goes to the list module, which shows a 'save and close' button. When clicking on this one, the template record is saved and TYPO3 returns to the template module on the right page using a returnUrl. There you can use the template selector box to select another template record.

Did you overlook the 'save and close' button, because it is available in the docheader? Take a look at the screenshot.

Hi Patrick,

no, I didn't overlook the 'save and close' button in list module but the template selector box while editing a single field in the template module... So problem 2 is solved. Thanks for the hint, sometimes you don't see the wood for the trees...

Now only the missing new button in the template module is left here.
