Description

In TYPO3 4.3 Dev the ENABLE_INSTALL_TOOL is deleted, when server time is not matching file creation time.

I used winscp in explorer mode wich adds the local pc time to the created file. If the local time differs to the server time, there is no chance to enter the INSTALL TOOL.
Only solution is to create the file direct on the server or using a console like PUTTY.

maybe this issue depends on bug 0011368 ?

TYPO3 4.3 Dev (trunk) on andlinux, ubuntu, php5.3.

I checked that bug against current 4.2.8 and yes, the buttons works perfect.
What happens when the admin has no access to the BE for any reason and the reported issue occurs using a ftp or scp client ?

Only way to gain access is to change the admin`s pass directly on the database ?

Hi Manfred,
you can put the string "KEEP_FILE" into the ENABLE_INSTALL_TOOL file which prevents from being deleted automatically. However, you have to care about removing the file again when your install tool session is finished - otherwise the install tool stays unlocked.
