Bug #20850
closedContent Element: Header Link Title with spaces didn't work
0%
Description
The link wizard generates a link like
123 - - Some Words
FE: a href="index.php?id=123" title="Some"
1. Klick on the link wizard in the Header section of an content element.
2. Fill out the field "Title:" with two or more words.
3. Close the wizard with selecting a page (or "Update")
4. Check the link title in FE
123 - - "Some Words" works fine.

The issue is very old, does this issue exists in newer versions of TYPO3 CMS (4.5 or 6.1)?

As far as I can see TYPO3 both 4.5.20 and 6.1.0 work fine... can be closed IMHO

Have you tested that? With multiple words in the title? As far as I remember the parser still takes spaces to separate the different arguments, so that I think multiple words don't work properly.
There is also another (duplicate) issue about that somewhere.

No feedback from author for over 90 days. The mentioned #22718 is resolved, and the author wrote that quoting the title solves the problem. I think quoting is the way to go, so we can close this issue. If you have problems with the solution, please open a new issue and reference this one.
