Description

When using the link browser to create a link to a file, it is adding 3 spaces to the end of the path and because of that does not save the path. I have seen it on text with image, a sectioned FCE, WEC sermon extension and have heard it happens with WEC content element. If you delete the extra spaces before saving you are fine.

How to reporduce: Create a text with image CE and go to the media tab. Click the icon next to the link file and from it choose a file from file admin. Check the end of the path it inserts into the field and you will see the spaces.

From a quick investigation, this appears to have been introduced to the 4.3 branch in r8401 (as part of the recent security release). From reading the code, I'm not sure how it produce this error though.

I vaguely remember seeing this issue in trunk during 4.4 development, but have not confirmed that.

I have this problem also in the 4.4.1 version of Typo3.

After further investigation, this is the same issue tracked in #23299. Jochen Rieger mentions the extra spaces on the end. When the current patch is applied (and Flexform sections are not used), links work properly.
