Bug #23613
closedsubmit FE login form twice to log in
0%
Description
There seems to be a problem with the encoding of the fe-user's password when using saltedPasswords.
Sending the login form the first time, i get the "login failure" message from felogin. Re-type my login information and send it again the login works as expected.
Tried to debug the javascript files, but without success.
Tested with Firefox 3.6, IE 8 and Chrome 6. But always the same problem.
System:
Typo3 4.4.2
felogin 1.3.0
rsaauth 1.0.0
saltedpasswords 1.0.0
(issue imported from #M15810)

Can you still reproduce this with current TYPO3 versions?

I can still reproduce this issue with Chrome (v15) and TYPO3 4.5.7 (also the older TYPO3 4.5.4).

I also experience this (or a similar) problem in Chrome 15. I even can't log in anymore at all. In Safari we had to enter the login data two times, then everything worked fine.
I suspect, there might be a cookie / rsa key problem or something like that... just a wild guess.

I experienced this exact problem (same configuration but with Firefox 10.0 now) for several months in 2011.
Now, with TYPO3 4.5.11, I cannot log in the front end at all. Back end login succeeds the first try. I'm using 'rsa' login security level in both front and back end, so I tend to think rsaauth and saltedpasswords are not the problem. The database shows saltedpasswords-style user passwords for both front end and back end users.

Is this still a problem? I haven't encountered it in any TYPO3 version myself.
