Bug #25894

No preview of page if starttime is set
Added by Daniel Mann over 13 years ago.
Updated almost 13 years ago.
Description
If the starttime of a page is in the future, the page is previewed without content even though I'm logged in as a backend user.
Steps to reproduce: Just create a new page, set its' starttime and preview it.
ShouldnÄt it behave like a hidden page?
No workspaces involved ;)

The patch is obsolete. Also it does not solve the issue. Please see #32159 for a better version of the similar patch.
There is important thing to recognise here. Firsts, the real issue is that the preview indicator is missing. That's the only missing thing. When the page with start time is previewed, there should be no content: you preview the page, which content is not yet available. If you want to see the content, you need to use admin panel to simulate the time. Then you will see the content.
I suggest to close this bug without further patching.
