Incorrect RTE transform of external URL with @ character
Added by Jan Simbera almost 13 years ago.
Updated about 7 years ago.
Description
When i add a external URL link in RTE with special characters( @ ). Then when i want to edit it again, the link is shown as email link and i have to create the link again.
- Category changed from Backend User Interface to RTE (rtehtmlarea + ckeditor)
- Target version deleted (
4.5.9)
- Status changed from New to Needs Feedback
- Complexity set to medium
Can you please give an example, what you used as link with "special characters"?
Besides that, it's working correctly in the front-end, but only modifying it in the RTE is problematic?
Thanks for your feedback!
Perhaps external url's should be rawurlencoded?
The problem with the @ character arises in the RTE transformation on the way to the RTE.
- Subject changed from External URL with special characters to Incorrect RTE transform of external URL with @ character
- Assignee set to Stanislas Rolland
- Target version set to 4.5.11
- PHP Version changed from 5.2 to 5.3
- Category changed from RTE (rtehtmlarea + ckeditor) to Miscellaneous
- Status changed from Needs Feedback to Under Review
- Target version changed from 4.5.11 to 4.5.12
- Status changed from Under Review to Resolved
- Target version changed from 4.5.12 to 6.0.1
- Status changed from Resolved to Closed
