Description

Hi there,

since it's been a while that Microsoft introduced its new File Formats (docx, pptx etc...) and these are getting more and more popular, I think it would be nice to have indexed_search to parse these files too.

Attached is a patch that adds support for these file types.

This patch has only be tested on TYPO3 4.5.2,4.5.8 and 4.5.16.

BR

Tizian

wouldn't it make sense to rather add support for the textExtract service? This way other extensions can take care of extracting text from whatever file formats.

I close this as it asks for the same things that are in #23669; please continue the discussion there.
