linktypes = linkhandler not working

Description
The linkhandler links are not being checked or processed inside RTE text content element and link field (Flexible content element - Templavoila). 0 broken links are returned always even though there exists one.

It does work inside RTE fields.
Please make sure that you include the tables and field you want to check. I do not have templavoila and thus can not test.

AFAIK linkvalidator checks fields based on softref settings. FCEs in TV do not have a softref defined, so it may very well not be possible to validate links.
Handling TV fields separately is quite complicated because the fields stored in a flexform are defined in the data structure.

I had the same problem on two different TYPO3 4.5.30.
I made a patch in attachment.
The variable $type seems to be pass as a reference and can be never set or is set to the type of the previous link.
