The update script handling was removed by the new extension manager and should be added again.

No, but it was planned where all the "action" icons go. (so that you have "configure, remove, download data, run update script ...".

Any news on this?

I'm just adapting the ExtensionBuilder but what should I recommend if I detect the need of an database update? Please uninstall and reinstall?

Btw.: it would be nice to have some API to detect in a clean way if a change in the domain model makes a database update neccessary...
