Media Video Elements: Allow to set a custom preview frame (or image)

Description
In typo3 6.1 the Media Content-Element has no possibility to set the preview
frame of the video or a preview picture.
So videos starting with a unicoloured or a short black screen
will not look very nice showing only this black or flat colored screen.

We added the option for poster images in CMs7. Thanks for the report and sorry for the long wait.

Thanks for all the efforts to everybody but after digging through several issues is this conclusion I'm comming to correct?
The feature will be/is added to version 7 but 6.2 will continue to lack support of it? :( I'm running the latest 6.2.27 and a) still don't get a preview image because b) I'm not having the changes from https://forge.typo3.org/attachments/download/28016/videoposter.patch
Could anyone be so kind and shed some light on this concerning 6.2? I'd be so greatfull, thanks :)

Yes, you are correct, 6.2 won't receive the poster image feature.
Posterimage feature is part of TYPO3 7 or higher.
6.2 will only receive critical bugfixes and security fixes. The posterimage feature is not part of both.
