I'm not sure what happend here but I copied the ticket http://forge.typo3.org/issues/16286 and added this text (were ever this text was placed, so I re-add it here):

The problem of the copied bug ticket still exists.

1. use Typo3 4.5.x + tt_news 3.0.1 + lonewsseo 1.3.3.
2. create a new news item in workspace
3. save it a check if lonewsseo alias is generated (visible in BE tab of news item)
4. send news item from stage to live workspace

-->> now the lonewsseo alias has been removed/was deleted/cleared

If you remove the eval "unique" from the ext_tables.php/TCA which is shipped with lonewsseo the described process work and nothing is deleted/cleaned.

I also tried this behaviour with cal extension (title field is unique here) but this works. Maybe because title is filled in workspace and live item (seen in DB) when even when only workspace item exists.
