Bug #54076
closedkey 'default' in options.backendLayout.exclude doesn't work
0%
Description
The proposed documentation for options.backendLayout.exclude states you can use:
options.backendLayout.exclude = default__1,default__2
This doesn't work.
What works is:
options.backendLayout.exclude = 1,2
Question is: Should we change behavior or documentation?

Maybe this was changed for backward compatibility? Then we should check if backend layouts from other dataproviders can be excluded (requirement). If this is the cache, we can change the documentation.

Items from your own dataprovider can be excluded.

It is still present in 6.2.12, but... I can't find in documentation where it is written that
options.backendLayout.exclude = default__1,default__2
should work.

See description of #52809 and if I'm not mistaken there was also a related documentation issue.

Since the documentation was updated, could we close this one?
