Description

In \TYPO3\CMS\Core\Utility\File\ExtendedFileUtility many exceptions are catched and the message of the catched exception is simply ignored. These messages should at least be shown for runtime exceptions to give extension developers the possibility for individual error messages.

This is especially important for other FAL drivers that e.g. work against remote services that may return a multitude of error messages.
