Only XLIFF is handled by the translation server. If an extension is providing both ll-XML (.xml) and XLIFF (.xlf) files, then it should have every label in the XLIFF file as there is no "merge" and only .xlf files are available for translations.

I converted the locallang.xml in Resources/Private/Language to xliff.

I hope this is enough so that it appears on the translation server.

Although the missing xlf file got added to the TYPO3 source the file is not translated and therfore still missing on the translation server.

Does someone know why it does not appear on the translation server?

Both language files appear in git:
https://git.typo3.org/Packages/TYPO3.CMS.git/tree/master:/typo3/sysext/indexed_search/Resources/Private/Language

But only one appears on the translation server? I could not find any information how language files appear on the translation server. I thought it would be automatic, once they are in git.

could you please change the status of this issue to something else than "resolved" as there ist still no working solution.

I can't update the status. When I click on "Update" above the BugReport, I only get focus on this comment field, but no options to update/change the status. I can't find any other way to edit the BugReport
