Description

It would imho be great to be able to create a file-mount that has certain permissions. As a basic step being able to mark a filemount "read-only" would imho already be sufficient. This way you could allow editors to see files in a filemount and use them as a source for linking to files or embed images but not being able to modify them (rename, upload, delete). On some other file-mount they could be allowed upload-access for their own files.

Afaik only small workarounds were available to add mounts to the file-selector without having them in the filelist. For example this one (in German; haven't tried yet):
